Best for
- Running several coding agents side by side on one prompt, each in an isolated worktree
- Monitoring and steering agents from a mobile companion app
- Reviewing and annotating AI-generated diffs without leaving the workspace
- Running agents on remote machines over SSH
Our take
Orca is an MIT-licensed desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux, installed via the download page at onorca.dev rather than a command, with iOS and Android companion apps. It works with any terminal-based agent and adds worktree orchestration, an embedded browser with Design Mode, GitHub and Linear integration, Claude and Codex usage tracking, and a scriptable CLI. The project is actively maintained and YC-backed, and the README says the changelog is the most complete feature list.
