Best for
- Java teams building enterprise CRUD systems (OA, ERP, CRM, SaaS) on Spring Boot and Vue3
- Using Claude Code with JEECG Skills to generate forms, BPM flows, reports, and dashboards from natural language
- Self-hosting an AI app platform with knowledge base, RAG, flow orchestration, and MCP plugins
Our take
A large, actively maintained Apache-2.0 project (version 3.9.5) whose primary product is a full low-code platform, not a standalone Claude Code extension; the Claude Code integration comes via a separate Skills repo (github.com/jeecgboot/skills) and a one-click installer documented at help.jeecg.com. Setup follows linked IDEA or Docker guides rather than a single command, and the stack requires JDK 17+, Node 20+, pnpm 9+, MySQL, and Redis. Documentation and community channels are primarily in Chinese, with English and Japanese READMEs available.
